Tamar Kabiri has been acting as the Director of the M.T. Abraham Foundation since 2004. Tamar was born into a family of six brothers and sisters and she is the youngest. During most of her early career, she acted as Head of the Commercial Department at Bank Hamizrahi in Tel Aviv.
During the 1990s, Tamar served as Director of Record Phone Science, Israel’s first mobile network company. Her love for the arts and her philanthropic approach lead, in 2004, to the establishment of the M.T. Abraham Foundation, that carries her late father’s name and follows his art collecting activities. Tamar developed over the years an agenda for the Foundation, focusing on preserving its holdings and investing in future generations via educational programs, traveling exhibitions, publications and conferences related to the arts and art history.
